Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, our best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all.
We also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the generally accepted calendar year 2011, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great.
Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere. And without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of those receiving these wishes.

I was just telling someone new I met on Thursday, while at Starbuck’s of course, that I am so tired of having to be politically correct all the time. I would love to go back to a simpler time in life. Wouldn’t you?!
Amen!
lol, this had us all laughing around my table tonight! excellent!
Great Post Shannon!!! That is so interesting, but some take it out on purpose. I am all about keeping the work Christ in Christmas!
I do agree however that there are some meany "christian's out there", we have to spread the love all the time!!
As for the politically correct Christmas wish, I think in the ending there is something about it being sent to everyone 1 year late cause it took that long to get through the lawyers 🙂
hehe!!
Merry Christmas Shannon, much love to you and your family.
