Every year it seems the Christmas season is upon me faster and faster. There are so many parties and social gatherings to organize that I find myself pushing events further and further into November. I admit… we watched our first Christmas movie and put up our Christmas lights before the middle of November hit!
This year, we’re getting into the Christmas Spirit with a delicious and easy recipe for Peanut Butter Chocolate Balls, combining the warm melting goodness of Kraft Peanut Butter with the rich, smooth deliciousness of Baker’s Chocolate. From barks and bars to pies and treats, we’re making entertaining easy-peasy, helping you get out of the kitchen and back to socializing with your guests!
My friends and family LOVE these peanut butter balls. It’s it’s a huge hit at our Christmas get-togethers. Make sure to add this recipe to your Christmas recipe box!
Let get started!
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups KRAFT peanut butter
1 1/2 cups icing sugar
1tsp vanilla
1/4 cup butter
1 package chocolate chips
Kosher salt (optional)
STEP 1:
Put all ingredients into a mixing bowl. Mix until it’s a dough like mixture. (SIDE NOTE: you may need to add a little more icing sugar to make the dough less sticky.)
Step 2:
On a prepared baking sheet lined with parchment paper, scoop a table spoon size of dough and roll it into a ball and place on sheet. Continue until all balls are rolled.
Step 3:
Put the baking sheet of rolled balls into the freezer and let sit for 1 hour.
Step 4:
Melt chocolate in a glass bowl and take balls out of freezer. Dunk the balls into chocolate using a fork and tap the side of bowl with your fork to get rid of excess chocolate. Put chocolate covered balls back on the baking sheet and sprinkle with a fine kosher salt. Put back in freezer for 25 minutes and then they are ready to be served!
Enjoy!
