This Sunday (Feb. 18) is Amazing Grace Sunday, where millions around the world will lift their voices as one to sing Amazing Grace.
My friend sent this to me and I think it’s a cool idea. It coincides with the movie that will be coming out soon called Amazing Grace. I thought this movie was about the man who wrote the song but it isn’t but it is powerful non-the-less. You should watch the trailer.

Small correction… the movie is actually about William Wilberforce, a member of parliament who fought for decades to bring about the end of the slave trade in the British Empire.
Although, the character of John Newton, the author of the song Amazing Grace is seen in the movie, but the movie is not about him.
The movie trailers are so moving, I am really looking forward to seeing it, I hope it comes out in Canada.
I saw the producer in an interview and he says he wants to do a movie about John Newton as well… so something else to look forward to.
