wrapping up BlissDom Canada #SnotBubbles ‘n all!

When you pour every ounce of your soul into a single weekend event, something amazing is bound to happen. Or at least, that’s what you hope will happen.

When I stood on the stage to wrap up BlissDom Canada 2013, I couldn’t help but cry. The kind of cry which creates #SnotBubbles! Not because I was sad, not at all. In fact, quite the opposite. I was so happy and blown away by all which transpired over the 2.5 days we made the Delta Meadowvale in Mississauga, Ontario, our home. It probably also contained a year’s worth of build-up… 🙂

When Jenn and I decided to pursue owning the rights to BlissDom Canada at the end of 2012, we told each other that EPIC was the goal we were aiming for. We spent months looking for a location, personally meeting with sponsors and vetting speakers with our team. The drive between Kitchener and Toronto became very familiar. Not to mention the air miles I collected during our cross-Canada pre-Bliss tour! We put our lives on the line, in every avenue possible; spiritually, physically, and financially.

To see all we’d discussed, dreamed about, and fought for come to fruition right before our eyes… was enough to leave me speechless for months. Seriously! Until now, I haven’t been able to put into words, all I, Shash myself, experienced. At first, it was like it was all a dream, “maybe it didn’t really happen.” I’ve spent the last week re-reading through many of the wrap-up posts and going through the thousands of photos. With each post and photo, memories come rushing back. It’s been a tidal wave of emotions.
