Yesterday was supposed to be my first official day back at work but I still haven’t heard from my boss whether or not I am going back now or in August or in September or even at all. I know the law says he has to give me my old job back this minute, even after a year off, but they’ve given me so many breaks over the 10 years I’ve been there and they’ve helped just about everyone I know and the church as well… I’m giving them a break.
But today I’m wondering if I should just bite the bullet and let them know that it is ok if they lay me off, with severence. In my heart of hearts I don’t want to return to work. I have 4 young children and a hubby I haven’t spent much time with over the last 2 years and a growing church that needs me more and more and that I need more and more. I am busy enough outside of having a part-time job at a credit union…

Sometimes God makes our a decision easy and maybe He is letting you know that you need to do what you have been doing over the last year. Maybe God doesn’t want you back at the credit union…I will pray for you to hear His voice clearly.
