You know what it’s like when you find a good thing??!!
You stick with it!
I was first introduced to the Philips Sonicare FlexCare system back in the fall of 2011. It took me a little while to finally take the plunge and get used to the tickle. For a while I had the use the sensitive setting because my gums were terrible and always bled. But I was determined, after all, my dentist had been spouting its praises for years.
Since using the Philips Sonicare Flexcare+ I’ve seen a huge improvement in my gums – no more bleeding – and in the amount of plaque – little to no plaque. In the 40 years I’ve had my teeth, they’ve never been healthier, says my Dentist!

Now I’m kicking things up a notch. I’m currently trying out the new Philips Sonicare Platinum Rechargeable Toothbrush. This baby is said to remove up to 7x more plaque between those hard-to-reach areas and trust me, with my mouth… there are quite a few of those!
NEW InterCare Brush Head provides exceptional inter-dental cleaning and gum care, with bristles that are designed to perform specific tasks:
- Light green bristles reach between teeth to remove plaque
- Dark green bristles gently and effectively remove plaque along the gum line
- White bristles polish and clean tooth surface
- Blue reminder bristles fade when a replacement is needed.
Customized Brushing System includes a total of 9 possible personalized brushing experiences.
Suggested retail price: $199.99
Stick around, I’ll be posting my full review shortly. But I’ll give you a little hint… add this toothbrush to your Christmas Wish List!
My dentist wasn’t lying – this rechargeable toothbrush is well worth it! Your teeth and your dentist will thank me. 🙂
My dentist has also seen improvements since I started using a Sonicare toothbrush 🙂
the proof is in the mouth 🙂 same here. I'll never go back to a manual toothbrush. Ever.
I've been using the Philips Sonicare electric toothbrush for several years and totally love it. My teeth got whiter when I first started using it….I guess it really does work.
