I can’t believe it has been nearly 2 years since the ladies in my church went away for a “resuscitation” weekend! I am so happy that we are doing it again.

Only a little while longer and we’ll be sitting by a fireplace, sipping hot chocolate and eating incredible food – that is even better because we don’t have to cook it or clean up afterwards!! What could be better?

This weekend fell into our laps and I know it was God. The resort we’re going to is completely full every single weekend of the entire year – except for this weekend – and this particular weekend was originally booked for my extended in-law family’s annual pilgrimage to the great white north. Due to a lack of enthusiasm on their part, my hubby suggested that the ladies take it over. My heart leaped! I knew we were to go.

So what do a bunch of “church ladies” do for a weekend away?

Rest, relax and rejuvenate!!

I have great expectations for this time away and I truly believe we will be blessed beyond comprehension. It’s going to be a Spiritual Spa for the Sisters.
