This upcoming Friday I’m hosting our church ladies meeting, we call it W.W.F. which stands for Women With Faith (more powerful than stone cold Steve Austin) It’s been a while since I’ve had people over, a large group at that. It’s hard when you share your Father-in-law’s space… the basement is coming along although I don’t like the cream paint I picked for the majority of the walls… too yellowy instead of a beige cream. What I’m going to do with 5 gallons of pale yellow paint, I have no clue.

Anyway back on track here!

During the last 3 WWF meetings we’ve been delving into the lives of different ladies from the Bible. Abigail was the first woman we got to know. We learned about her incredible God-given inheritance of Strength, especially when dealing with difficult people. This time we are looking at Martha. Oh Martha, Martha, Martha… We hope to uncover the keys to do only that which God calls us to do and less of what we want to do to impress people. The inheritance of Righteousness. We’ll study her until we’re sure we’ve got it down. There’s no sense studying about something only once – not to fully understand it – or even long enough to see the light bulb go off. I want the ladies of the church to have a light bulb moment. I want to have a light bulb moment…
