Merry Christmas Everyone!!

The kids were up at 8am all ready to start opening gifts – I can’t believe they waited that long! Actually… I can. My kids like to sleep in. They are their mother’s child.

Before you knew it – all the presents were opened and some were asking for more. No matter how many you put under the tree there’s always room for more in their eyes. We did pretty good this year – no rolling of the eyes or, “is that all?”. We had some screams and some giggles, happiness overall. Li loves his Go Diego Go toys, he’s already in the bathtub with his toys. Jake was just happy being in the middle of it all. Q’s outside with his remote control jeep (thanks Auntie Tam Tam) in his new shoes. Em’s already wearing her new clothes. I’m still in my pj’s – sitting at the computer while my hubby makes breakfast and coffee.

My hubby surprised me with enough jewellery to start up my own store! Just before he went into my favourite store (Reitman’s) I casually mentioned to him that a girl can’t have enough jewellery. I now have about 24 necklaces, 8 earrings and about 6 bracelets. Now I’ll need the clothes to match… 😉

I put a bottle of “TAG” in my hubby’s stocking and then attacked him when he opened it – we all got a laugh over that. I also picked him up a new shaver… the first new one in 14 years!! Our major gift to each other was the new kitchen that is almost together. I’ll post pictures soon.

Enjoy your day with family and friends and remember that in all the wrapping paper, boxes and bags and in the glow of the glistening tree — the reason we celebrate is because of a little baby who was born so that all could be saved. God wants us all in His family — and that is the greatest gift of all!!
