Missy has 1 rehearsal and 3 ballet recitals this weekend! Then it’s done. No more rushing out the door on Thursday nights – most times missing dinner in the process – in order for her and 6 or 7 other little ballerinas to flit and float around. This is the last year for her to be able to take ballet at the community centre and to be honest… I’m glad. Our week is packed as it is and to get her enrolled in this dance class… at this community centre… I had to sleep on the sidewalk — overnight — last September with my 1 year old (and joined by two of my girlfriends for their daughters) in order to get her a spot!

Kayla is trying to decide whether to try tap or jazz for the summer, I can’t help because I have never taken dance lessons. She will probably observe a class of each first and then pick. She wanted to do soccer but I missed registration and it costs $150 to sign up late. I don’t think so!
