Can you believe that tomorrow is August 1st?! Where did the summer go?? I managed to get away to my sister in law’s place, 3 hours north of me, in cottage country. I had a relaxing weekend with the 4 kids – yes… I left my hubby behind. He doesn’t get weekends off – he doesn’t get two days in a row off… but that’s another post.
My kids had such a great time up there that I left the three oldest ones up there with their relatives. My hubby’s sister has 4 kids herself but a lot older than my kids. My kids could be her kid’s kids… technically. I know they are enjoying their pool and being spoiled. My sil does a great job at that!!!
I have only the baby with me – well… he’s not really a baby anymore. He will be 2 in 2 weeks. With all the other kids gone – I’m playing a lot of soccer! My oldest is great at keeping his little brother busy!!
I hope you’re all having a wonderful summer and are enjoying each and every day… while it lasts!!
Woohoo…you were able to part with one more then me!! I really do miss my older ones though, cause they are really big helpers!!

And to think…my Christmas tree is still behind the couch (never found a storage box big enough)…maybe I should just set it up now.
