We are experiencing the most amazing streak of weather seen in decades I’m sure. This weekend we will reach record high temperatures and I’m talking the summer kind! The a/c is going on tomorrow if it’s much like today, that’s for sure. More amazingly than that… is that this is Thanksgiving weekend. A time to reflect on what we’re thankful for. It’s not just all about the bird…

What are you thankful for?

I’m thankful for 4 healthy, beautiful, wise, and obedient children that will one day rise up and call their mother blessed!!! And for a hubby that does the dishes, changes diapers and trades off to make the meals, takes the kids to school, to swimming lessons and prays for them when they go to sleep. For friends who call to check up on me at the perfect moments and who genuinely ask me how I am. For family who doesn’t judge me but loves me unconditionally. For a God who created me in His image – strong, capable of great things and compassionate. He loves me more than I could comprehend and for my church who love me as the imperfect wife of the pastor that I am, with nothing to prove or do to have their respect.

None of this is in any particular order… 🙂
