It’s been a while since I did a Thursday Thirteen list – by the time I remember or think of something to do, Friday arrives. I really need to get better organized and write a bunch out and then keep them ready to go. 

This week I’m going to tell you about 13 of our more memorable events my hubby and I have experienced in our 14 years of marriage, in chronological order:

1. Getting married! 🙂 We tied the knot on May 11, 1996 on the top of Grouse Mountain in North Vancouver, BC.

2. Honeymooned in Hawaii. We stayed on the Big Island, Kauai & in Honolulu for 2.5 weeks. 

3. We bought our 1st house & moved into it a few days before Christmas in 1996.

4. The arrival of our 1st child, our son Q was born in October of 1998.

5. We backpacked through France, Switzerland and Italy with our then 7 month old son.

6. The arrival of our 2nd child, our daughter Missy was born in May of 2000.

7. We sold our 1st house and purchased our 2nd a month before child #3 arrived.

8. The arrival of our 3rd child, our son Li Li was born on my 30th birthday in 2002.

9. Our church, that my hubby started in 1993, purchased its first building in the summer of 2004!

10. The arrival of our 4th child, our son JZ was born in August 2005 and a week later…

11. We had sold our 2nd house to build our 3rd, so we moved again.

12. We cruised around Hawaii for our 10th anniversary in 2006 with my parents, a gift from them.

13. How to fit 4 years into one point??… OH!! I quit working outside the home in the fall of 2007 & so now I’m able to go on lots of school trips & we take longer summer vacations & go away at the drop of a hat!!
