I was walking down memory lane while I was in BC visiting my family over Christmas and New Year’s. Literally! This is a framed photo that hangs on the wall in the hallway of memories in my parents home. I vaguely remember the day this picture was taken. I do remember that felt so grown up and thought my parents were so old! 🙂
I figure I was around 7 or 8 years old here. That makes my Mom in this photo… the age I am now! She was 30 when I was born. My Dad is 4 years younger than her and so he would have been around 34 years old in this picture. I suddenly don’t think they were so old!
At times I don’t like how fast life is flying by…
When we were out there…C loved seeing all your pictures. She thought you were famous cause your pics were all over the wall.
It is weird how time changes your perspective. When I was 21, my parents were 37 and I thought they were old farts. Now, I am 37 and I think about how old I must look to my kids. Life just isn't fair, lol!!
