Peacefully, in the arms of his son, surrounded by those who loved him dearly, John went to be with the Lord. Predeceased by the love of his life, Dorothy J. Mischuk (2005). Survived by his children, John Mischuk Jr (Marie), Gwen Shuttlesworth (Rev. Tim), Pauline J. Heath (Mike), Judy Phillips (Ron) and Rev. David Mischuk (Shannon).

Cherished by fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Alex Mischuk, Vera Lysiuk, Joseph Mischuk and Virginia Bryant. Predeceased by brother Len Mischuk.

He was a spiritual father at New Song Church where he will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.

The Lord and his family were everything to him.

John was a retired employee of Cambridge Memorial Hospital, an avid photographer, carpenter, over 30 year season ticket holder & fan of the Kitchener Rangers and an outdoorsman.

John’s family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 & 7-9pm on Sunday, August 21st at Henry Walser Funeral home {507 Frederick Street, Kitchener 519-749-8467}. A celebration of John’s life will be held at 11am on Monday, August 22nd at Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly {395 King St N, Waterloo}. Internment at Williamsburg Cemetery followed by a barbeque at New Song Church {24 McIntyre Place, Kitchener}.
