I did something this past weekend that I’ve never done before!
I tried my hand at Archery while at Pioneer Camp for one of their Autumn Blaze, Women’s Retreats and I really liked it.
My arms were numb for a while afterwards… it’s hard on the muscles you never use!

It took me a little while to get the hang of it, my form was never the greatest.
I won’t show you where the arrows landed the first dozen times…
But persistence paid off!
I finally hit the target and it was a great feeling.
Capable! Triumphant! Powerful!

A few life lessons can be learned here… dontcha think
Now to learn to shoot the bull’s eye while riding a horse… backwards!
