We spent the last week at a cottage in Tory’s Landing on Sparrow Lake. It’s about half way between Orillia and Gravenhurst in the Muskokas, one of our favourite places to vacation in all of Ontario.

Christmas, just the six of us. It was peaceful, full of love and warmth. We got to sleep in, played games, put together puzzle after puzzle, watched movies, walked in the snow and sat in front of the fireplace each and every day.

No work calls, no internet, no drama, no places to be or people to see. Just us. It was a little piece of heaven.

I’m happy my hubby decided back in September to book this!

I think it should become an annual thing…
